Though their silver tails are longer than the short, blunt tails that characterize one of the most popular of the pet parrot breeds, I believe this is meant to be a pair of LOVEBIRDS. When kept in pairs, lovebirds will stay as close together as possible while sleeping or resting. Balanced on their perch, this charming pair shares a beaked kiss, and they'll swing charmingly from your bracelet. Each bird can flip independently all the way around on the perch. The charm measures nearly 3/4" long from the top of the perch to the tip of the bird's tail, and it is a bit less than 1/2" wide. The birds are dimensional and detailed, and look the same on both sides. Unmarked, I believe the charm is sterling silver, though it cannot be tested without damaging the finish. It is in EXCELLENT vintage condition, and appears to have a rhodium finish to prevent tarnishing.
