How It All Began....
When I was 7 years old, my Papaw Charlie gave me an open-link, sterling silver bracelet for my birthday. While it is likely that he intended to add charms on special occasions, my Papaw died a few months later, and the bracelet remained empty. Years later, I re-discovered the pretty little bracelet in the bottom of my old blue vinyl jewelry box, and I realized that it was a charm bracelet waiting to be filled. I imagined how wonderful it would be to have it hung with charms dating to my childhood, and I wondered where I might find vintage sterling silver charms. It didn't take me long to discover the internet, and an addiction was born. My charm bracelet is full, but I haven't stopped collecting. I frequent local estate sales, auctions, antique shops and shows in search of authentic vintage charms and bracelets to add to my collection and to share with others.
